Make Your Life New by Losing Fat Fast

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

If you succeed in your efforts to lose fat fast, you will feel a newness to life, it will remove your inhibitions and life becomes a pleasure.

One of the most effective ways to lose fat fast is to eat fat-burning diets.  Fat-burning diet is nothing but fiber foods that consist of wholesome grains, beans, fresh fruits and vegetables. They supply a lot of vitamins and minerals to your body. When you eat these fiber foods, you will feel full very soon, and hence you will not overheat your normal diet. Hence you are advised to eat a lot of salads and fruits prior to your meal so that your intake of your regular diet will come down drastically.  The fiber contents of these foods have the capacity to improve your bowel movement also.

You should also keep away from calorie-increasing diets like fatty foods.  Of course it is true that your body needs fats for the effective functioning of your brain but the fat should be good fat that is obtained from foods that are prepared with olive oil and fish oil. You should not eat fried items, oily items and spicy foods.

Intake of salt should also be reduced because salt holds more water inside the body. The weight of water will also increase your body weight.

When you feel thirsty, you should not immediately grab a bottled drink for quenching your thirst. Such carbonated drinks, sugary sodas and fruit juices that contain sugar will increase your weight because the sugar available in them does not get burned fully.  So you should take the lot of water and not such and unhealthy drinks to quench your thirst. Instead of taking fruit juices that contain sugar, you should take a lot of fruits that are more beneficial.

You should also change your eating routine. You may be accustomed to eat three square meals a day, and it may be your notion that only such eating will provide your body with enough calories and energy for the day. It is wrong.  If you split your three large meals into six or seven smaller meals and eat them at an interval of every two hours, your body will get a continuous supply of enough calories and energy for the day. The smaller meals are easy to digest also. Because of the increased metabolism, you will not have fat gains also.  Hence to lose fat fast, this style of eating is suggested by experts.

Your breakfast should be a little heavy, your lunch should be a little less and dinner should be very light. You should have your dinner two hours before you retire for bed because you’re not going to spend any calories during the night due to lack of physical activity.

You should increase your intake of water to lose fat fast. Water hydrates your body from the inside, and hence you develop a good resistance power against infections. Water also has the power of removing toxins from your body. Toxins, in general, remain inside the fat cells of your body. If the toxins are removed,  fat cells become weak and hence your attempts to lose fat fast will be successful. Your intake of water should be at least 8 to 10 glasses a day.

How To Stop Overeating: 10 Easy Steps

Saturday, February 6th, 2010

We’ve all eaten too much at one time or another. But while some people only tend to overeat at parties, there are those who have made it a habit. Their reasons for overeating range from boredom to stress. These people often don’t realize that they’re gaining weight.

One day, they’re just shocked by the fact that they’ve gained many pounds due to their mindless overeating.

Before that happens, it’s best for you to control your urge to binge mindlessly. Here are some simple moves you can make to complement your willpower:

1. Don’t get tempted by food advertisements.
Even when you aren’t hungry, it’s easy to get tricked into buying food that’s being promoted
in billboards, TV ads and magazines. Each time you find yourself drooling over print ads
featuring a burger or a steak, you must remind yourself that manufacturers spend millions of
dollars to create a need for what they are selling. You won’t die if you don’t get to eat
whatever is featured in food advertisements.

2. Substitute food with exercise.
Stop yourself each time you think of bingeing when you’re stressed. You should just head for the gym or go for a long walk to get rid of your frustrations.

3. Think of 20 valid reasons.
If you’re having a difficult time reminding yourself that having a whole bucket of fried chicken is a bad idea, stop and start thinking of 20 good reasons why you should indulge yourself. Chances are you won’t be able to come up with enough justifications to back up your desire to eat something that’s not good for you.

4. Savor your meals.
Studies show that people are more likely to eat more than they should when they’re distracted. This is why you should stop eating in front of the TV. Munching on snacks while
working is also not advisable.

5. Drink water.
Whenever you crave for food, drink a glass of water first to make sure that you’re not confusing thirst with hunger.

7. Get rid of your food stash.
Having too much food within reach will only encourage you to keep reaching for something to munch on. Many people don’t stop until they know that there’s nothing left to eat.

8. Do some other tasks after dinner.
To avoid eating more after dinnertime, keep yourself busy with tasks such as reading,
sending emails to your friends and organizing your sock drawer. Your chosen task will help
keep you from thinking about getting a snack after dinner or at midnight.

9. Reward yourself from time to time.
Give in to your food craving occasionally. Depriving yourself of your favorite treats may
cause you to lose control and binge uncontrollably.

10. Brush your teeth.
Each time you think that you still want to eat even after you’ve had a food meal, you should
just brush your teeth. The mint taste of the toothpaste will banish your hunger pangs.

When it comes to developing healthy eating habits, you need all the help you can get to stay on track. You just have to accept the fact that your willpower needs reinforcements when it comes to resisting the temptation to binge.

The Role of Food and Clothing In treating Yeast Infections

Monday, June 22nd, 2009

As human beings we actually do not need very much at all to get by. It really boils down to the three basic needs of food, shelter, and clothing. Now, as I’m sure you know everything we do is down to choices. So we can choose what we do in the matter of these three basics.

In fact the choices we make in two of these have a significant effect upon our health in general, and yeast infections specifically, as that is what the subject of this article is all about.

Let’s talk about food first. Now obviously we all need food to survive and nourish us. The problem arises when the food we eat also nourishes yeast infections.

It is paramount to keep the body in a state of balance. This occurred naturally thousands of years ago as the principle diet of humankind was raw foodstuffs and water, pretty much nothing else. Well it worked OK didn’t it? Because we are all here today.

Anyway, nowadays we tend to eat too much refined and processed food, and way too much sugar. Yeast infections thrive on sugar, and multiply and re-occur in that environment.

So it’s fairly obvious that we need to control our acidic, sugary intake and eat more alkaline foods to balance thwe PH level in our body.

Examples of these sort of alkaline foods are most vegetables, Avocado (eggplant), Tomato, Grapefruit, Herbal tea, and seeds. This is by no means an exhaustive list, you can easily find more with a quick search. Eating as much of this raw is also an excellent way of getting rid of yeast infections.

It is also important to maintain an adequate water intake, we are threequarters water and we dehydrate faster than we think. In fact thirst is a bad indicator. By the time we feel thirsty we are already in a mild state of dehydration.

Train yourself to drink water frequently, of course at first you will find that you need to relieve yourself more frequently also. However your body will soon get used to the additional water intake and you will settle down as before.

It can also be a good idea to add a few PH drops into your water, this can help enormously. Just enter “PH drops” into your search engine to find a supplier and more information.

Now to clothing. Of course nowadays clothing is seen as necessary, and in certain climates of course it is. It is not necessary, or desirable, to wear tight fitting clothing. Especially around the crotch area.

Most women will at some stage in their lives have experienced a yeast infection in that area. It’s just the kind of environment that yeast infections thrive in. If you do not allow this (or indeed any other) area to breath, and get excess moisture away, you are setting yourself up for yeast infections.

Try not to wear synthetic materials, cotton is best. Not too tight, and avoid pantyhose at all costs. Not very sexy I know. But then nor is a recurrent yeast infection.

Just try it for a week or two and you will notice the difference. Just two simple choices about the way you live can help eliminate those problem yeast infections.

Chris Haycock is an information publisher who has experienced the upsetting problems of yeast infections in his own family. Over a period of time, using his connections, he has been able to help others eliminate their problem. If you wish to know more just go to
